When you live in yoga pants, t-shirts, and flip-flops you are probably like me, you don’t require much makeup. Once in a while there’s that special occasion. The day you wear a brand new pair of yoga pants, and you put the flip-flops away (it’s under 32 degrees). It’s the perfect day for makeup.
With seven products, a few tools, and about 15 minutes you too can go from grocery-geter to parent teacher conference night…
Skip the primer, I’m not convinced I need it. If you think you do, add your favorite. I used a sponge to apply the Physicians Formula Nude Wear Touch of Glow Foundation in the color Ivory. In my opinion this is a medium coverage foundation that can be built up. Seems to work well with other products I use with it.
Under the eyes, and on any part you want to blur or highlight I use the It Cosmetics Bye-bye Under Eye Full Coverage Concealer. Blend it out with the sponge.
Under the eyes to brighten I use a little bit of the color Light Cocoa from the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Palette. You don’t need this step, but when I have more than usual darkness under the eyes this helps.
To warm up my face I use the Wet’n’Wild Color Icon Bronzer. I skip the contour and stick to bronzer to help shape my cheek bones, nose, and around the forehead.
Last on the face is the Too Faced Peach Blur Translucent Finishing Powder. This feels light on the skin, does a good job blurring, and doesn’t oxidize my foundation.
For the Eyes I used my new favorite palette, Textured Neutrals by Tati Beauty.
- Aura Matte all over the lid
- Soothe Sequin in the crease, blended out
- Memory Matte used as eyeliner
- Aura Metallic in the inner corner and blended along the top of the eye just under the brow
- Soothe Glitter over the outer eye and middle eye
- Aura Glitter over the inner corner
I used the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. Skipped the brows, put on balm or gloss, and you are done. Nothing fancy, but it doesn’t need to be.
